Its already over! PDF Print E-mail
LaraOh it was a fun ride but it was to short.  So I broke my own rule of finish one game before getting another.  I had an extra controller given to me for Christmas.  I traded it in for Tomb Raider this last Sunday.  I have been playing a few hours here and there at night.  It has been a great game over all.  The puzzles are fun and the story is actually interesting.  The only thing I would say is a downer is the motorcycle riding.  It does not feel like they finished that part of the game.  It could have been done a lot better.  So I am really getting into this game and it ends like Halo 2.  You think there is going to be more and it just ends leaving you hanging.  The game is a little short for my taste and with the hanging ending it makes it feel even more so.  The game logged that it only took me seven hours to finish.  Sure you can go back and play on hard and there are time trials to beat but that stuff doesn’t do it for me.  Once you figure out the puzzles you have done most of the fun parts of the game.  Just making it harder to shoot bad guys in the game does not make me want to play it again.  For 60 bucks I want the game to last longer than seven hours.  I would suggest renting this game based on the time it took to finish.  In retrospect I guess I diverted my attention from GRAW for only a few days which isn’t so bad for trying to get back into playing that game.  I know that I have spent more than seven hours on that game and still have half of it to go.  When I finish that one I will feel like I got my moneys worth.  I am excited that my friend Tim just picked up a 360 and GRAW.  They have some multiplayer missions designed for you and and your friends to play through that you can’t do on your own using xbox live.  More games should build in co-op play into them over xbox live.  Some of the best times I have had playing Halo is in co-op with a friend, they just need to use xbox live to do it and not force us to be on the same box.  My hat is off to the developers of GRAW for adding this to their game.
