So life has been a little busy the last few months with the new baby but that is not the only thing I have been up to.  Since the last post I have sold my old house, purchased a new house and bought a used car.  I will talk about the house stuff later but I will fill you in on the car.  I have been looking for a car for quite a while now.  My truck, having only two doors was killing my back putting my daughters in their cars seats in the back seat.  It was only a matter of time before I put my back out doing it.  I needed something with four doors.  I had narrowed my choices down to the Toyota Camry or the Volkswagen Passat.  I had a budget and I could afford the fully loaded v6 Camry or a middle of the line v4 2.0 Turbo Passat.  I really wanted the fully loaded black v6 Passat but it was to much.  During the move to our new house one of my wife’s friends had a really nice Volvo.  When I asked him about it he said he picked it up used for a price way under my budget.  That really got me thinking about used cars.  So I started looking at the auto trader for used Passats.  Low and behold I found a fully loaded v6 Passat (dark brown - its so dark unless you look closely you can’t tell its not black)  for the same price I had budgeted.  I made an offer and I am now the new proud owner of a VW 2006 4-motion v6 Passat with all the luxury fixings for the same price of a middle of the line new v4 2.0 Turbo Passat.  The car was owned for seven months and only had nine thousand miles on it.  Well that is about it for now.  I will try to keep this website a little more updated from now on.
