Welcome to my little space on the web. On this website you will find things that I care about or just feel like sharing with complete strangers on the net. I know my writing style is bad and my spelling is not much further behind. What can I say. I am dyslexic and their is a serious disconnect between what my brain is thinking and what I type on the keyboard. I just think different.
So a little more about me. My name is David Arnold and I am a native to Washington state. I grew up in Tacoma and lived in Bellingham for a short while for college. I currently live in Sammamish, WA with my wonderful, beautiful and talented wife Brigette and my two sweet little girls Cassia and Taela.
Currently I work helping churches with their websites. To learn more about that go visit my other site - Church Hub. I am excited that I get to help churches in this way, but I wont go into much detail about it here as your can read all about it at the other site.
I like to refer to myself as a closet geek. What does that mean? Let me explain. I like to play with computers, I like building them, fixing them and always upgrading them. I like to build websites and do lots of cool things with them. I like HD TV. I like my movies in full 7.1 digital surround. I have more music on my computer than I know what to do with. If I played every song on my computer non stop it would take over a month to play them all. 30.2 to be exact. I like to play video games and play online with my friends. I like to shoot you with a spanker missile. So yes I am a geek but unlike most geeks I do know what the outside is. I love to play just as hard outside as I do inside. I love to mountain bike up and down stuff most people have a hard time hiking on. I wake board as often as I can. I ride my road bike to Portland, Oregon (Thats 200 miles from here.) just because I can. I love to play sweeper in soccer. To put it all together. I can hang with the geeks and then the next minute I can play hard with the jocks. I have not found to many people who can play both sides like that. And that folks is what a closet geek is.
